A Valuable Research Record Exploring the Local Significance of Jiz\u014dson<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Kanazawa, with its well-preserved traditional streets, is home to many Jiz\u014dson statues that have long been objects of faith for the local people. To pass down the origins and legends of these Jiz\u014dson statues to future generations, the Kanazawa City Jiz\u014dson Research Committee, made up of folklorists, was formed. The committee conducted field interviews and research on over 260 Jiz\u014dson statues, focusing on folklore perspectives such as Jiz\u014d faith and related rituals. The findings, which covered the entire city of Kanazawa, were compiled into a report and are regarded as an unprecedented and highly valuable contribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
